Mark's Tire, Inc. has been through many changes since business began many years ago. Previously, the building was the home of the Rainbow Inn Bar. Through the years, Mark and his crew have made significant upgrades to the building and equipment in order to better serve customers.

The photos below show the progression of Mark's Tire, Inc. over the last 20 years.

Oldshop

The building that is now Mark's Tire used to be the Rainbow Inn Bar. It was a one story block building with kitchen and living quarters on the East end and a small garage on the West side. One of the first renovations of the building was to replace the caved in roof with a second story for tire storage.

Over the years, various improvements were completed to the building. The outside block was refaced with cedar siding, windows replaced, and the parking lot was blacktopped. An addition was built on the storage garage on the West end to create a warehouse for additional inventory storage.

Once the new roof was finished, a few renovations in the main shop area were completed. The main structure of the building was in good shape. In fact, the original concrete floor is still in place today. For the first few years in business, tire changes were completed outdoors in front of the shop.

In addition to the main shop improvements, the warehouse received another addition for inventory storage, and a breezeway built between the main shop and the warehouse.

After a few years, garage doors were added. First, the two doors on the right were added, and the office was on the left. The third door was added a few years later, when the living quarters on the East end were converted to the new office.

The most recent project was to add steel siding to the second story, and add shingles above the new office. The appearance of Mark's Tire has changed dramatically over the years, but our service to our customers remains the same high level of service that has made our growth and success possible. We thank our many customers that have contributed to our success over the years.

Oldoffice

The original office was located on the West end of the building, which now houses a third bay.

As Mark's Tire grew over the years, it became apparent that we needed a larger office and showroom to better serve our customers.

The living quarters were removed and the current office and showroom was started.

The larger office allows us to better serve our customers in addition to having a comfortable area for our customers to wait. The large glass doors between the office and the showroom allow customers to watch the staff work on their vehicle without being exposed to the noise.
