The building that is now Mark's Tire used to be the Rainbow Inn Bar. It was a one story block building with kitchen and living quarters on the East end and a small garage on the West side. One of the first renovations of the building was to replace the caved in roof with a second story for tire storage. |
Once the new roof was finished, a few renovations in the main shop area were completed. The main structure of the building was in good shape. In fact, the original concrete floor is still in place today. For the first few years in business, tire changes were completed outdoors in front of the shop. |
The original office was located on the West end of the building, which now houses the third bay. |

As Mark's Tire grew over the years, it became apparent that a larger office and showroom was necessary to better serve our customers. |
A fews years after starting business, the first garage doors were added. Originally, the two doors on the right were added, and the office was still located on the left. The third door was added a few years later, when the living quarters on the East end were converted to the current office location in 1997. |
The living quarters were completely removed, walls relocated and new fixtures installed. This renovation quadrupled the size of the office and showroom. |

Over the next few years, various improvements were completed to the building. The outside block was refaced with cedar siding, windows replaced, and the parking lot was blacktopped. An addition was built on the storage garage on the West end to create a warehouse for additional inventory storage. |
The larger office was a great improvement for providing service to our customers. |
The showroom provided additional space to display the many brands and models of tires available for our customers. The large glass doors between the office and the shop area allow customers to watch the staff work on their vehicle without being exposed to the noise. |

A few years later, the warehouse received another addition for inventory storage, and a breezeway built between the main shop and the warehouse. |
In recent years, several improvements were made including adding steel siding to the second story, and shingles above the office. |
The final addition to the warehouse added the remaining storage needed and connected all the storage areas together. |

The storage capabilities allow us to stock a large variety of sizes, brands, and styles of tires to meet the needs of our customers. |
Mark enjoys landscaping work and added various flowers and bushes around the building. |
Over the winter of 2010, the office was remodeled. The new renovations created a more comfortable waiting area for our customers. |

Throughout the new office, the many brands and styles of tires available are on display. |
The service counter was relocated and new computers installed to provide instant access to pricing and information for the staff to assist customers. |
The building modifications are now complete (at least for now), so stop by and check out the most recent modifications. |
